Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 Review
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 comes with a 7.90 inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a pixel density of 326 PPI. It comes with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. This is similar to the Mi pad 2. There is not a much change in display quality but the colors are more pleasing to the eye in the Mi Pad 3 than the Mi pad 2.
RAM, Storage And Battery
The device is powered by a Hexa-core (3×2.1 GHz Cortex-A72 & 3×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and PowerVR GX6250 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory which is not expandable. This device packs a 6600 mAh removable Li-Ion battery. The battery on this device gives up to 2-3 days of stand by time. and 12-15 hours of on screen time. This tablet runs on android 7.1.1 with MIUI 8 on top. The Mi Pad 2 had only 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. So as expected the performance is better in the Mi Pad 3. But in the Mi Pad 3 there are some bugs with the MIUI on the MI Pad 3, Some games won’t work and the auto brightness also doesn’t work.
The Mi Pad 3 comes with a f/2.2 13 megapixel rear camera without LED flash which can shoot video in 1080p HD and a f/2.0 5-megapixel front facing shooter, Where as the MI Pad 2 had only a 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera . The camera quality is far better on the Mi Pad 3 than the Mi Pad 2. But the pictures doesn’t look good for a 13 MP camera.
Sim and Sensors
The Mi Pad 3 does not come with a sim slot which means that you cannot put sim on to this device. The sensors on this device are Accelerometer, gyro and compass, this is similar to the Mi Pad 2.
The Mi Pad 3 is a great device for gaming as it has a 7.9 inch screen the viewing experience is awesome. The 4 GB of RAM helps a lot while gaming compared to the Mi Pad 2. While continues gaming the battery life is upto 5-6 hours. Even tho there are some very miniature lags , it won’t affect your gaming experience.
